My Jealous Cousin

I know this article is strange but trust me its a true life story,it happened to someone close to me and he asked me to write it on my blog on his behalf. My name is Kelvin,I am 27 years old,a Polytechnic graduate in one of the tertiary institutions in Nigeria.I am searching for a job at present though I managed teaching in a school for a brief period where I first met a lady I dated. Funmi is a down to earth girl,well maybe at first,she was all loving and thought I was this rich guy with lots of cash to spread around. We dated for sometime till she got admission into a University which also coincided with my own departure to my hometown. We continued dating for sometime till she got fed up and stopped calling.I felt bad for sometime because I was bored and was still searching for a job but my female cousin Dorris was always there to keep me company and we got pretty close. Dorris saw I was lonely so she decided to set me up on a blind date with her Friend Nancy who just got into the University in my hometown.I only spoke to Nancy on phone and I was already in love her even without meeting her.I didnt care if she was ugly or pretty,all I just wanted was meeting her and holding her in my arm. Nancy resumed in her new school and came to see me immediately she settled in and "My oh My" was she not beautiful?,She is still the most gorgeous lady I have ever dated in my life so far. Our first kiss was perfect,like I was Jack and she was Rose in that popular movie Titanic. We became so obsessed with each other,couldnt leave each other even for a second.She didnt care I had no job,she always made me happy and I spent most of my time with her and less time with my Cousin. Nancy and Dorris my cousin decided to stay together in the same house since they both are in the same schoool but different disciplines.Nancy was sleeping over at my place all the time cause my parents loved her too and took her as a family,infact things were going on smoothly and I had time to think of many things to indulge in to make ends meet legitimately but little did I know Cousin Dorris was having a hard time fighting jealousy in her heart.It was as if Nancy came to take me from her,take me from the secretes and gists we always share with each other. Dorris found faults in all Nancy does,reported her to my mum,spoilt her name in midst of friends and told me nasty things about her that got me thinking. I got confused for sometime but the only comforting thing was that Nancy already told me about those things my Cousin Dorris said but only added a little twist to the stories to make Nancy guilty,I watched Nancy for a while and saw that all what my cousin added about her were all lies,see Nancy love me with all her heart and want to grow little kelvins with me so i turned a deaf hear to all what my cousin said and loved Nancy more. My decisions were right and I noticed Dorris was doing all she could to fustrate us both,it wasnt working so she made an enemy out of me too,lying and behaving strangely, One thing I failed to mention is that Dorris like guys a lot,any guy that comes close to her she accepts so long as he has something to offer her so she was always flocking around guys despite the fact that she had a serious guy,She wanted Nancy to play the same game she does but when she saw Nancy was devoted to me alone,she wanted to break us up so Nancy can join in her game. Nancy is really troubled and has decided to move in with her coursemate but the problem is Dorris also want to go with her. Its like Dorris has taken a sole mission to destroy her happiness and Nancy doesnt really know what to do.Nancy doesnt want to offend her and at the same time want to keep away from her. I dont know what to do too,dont want to beef her or stay away from her too cos she is my cousin,I tried talking to her many times and even put a picture of her on my phone to show she is still my Cousin Dorris but all that is not working. The latest she is doing now is making her(Nancy) guilty for coming between us. I am really confused because Dorris brought us together but now want to break us up. Larry I need your help cause I am so confused, Thats it guys,Kelvin really need our help on how to solve this cause he doesnt know who to please more. Funny thing is how would a lady be jealous of her friend and Cousin?.My take on this is maybe Nancy is prettier than her and that way gets all the praise about her looks why she(Dorris) is left out,or maybe something must have occured between the two friends that none is saying.
